Howdy, my name is Arnold but my nickname is Loot, I am a loft conversions specialist currently living in Glasgow, England. My favorite hobbies are philately, writing and bus spotting. I grew up in in Cambridge and I studied at The Robert Gordon University. I've got a sister Darcie-Mae and three brothers, I have a pet pony called Emily. I manage a loft conversion company and assist home-owners to improve their homes so that they haven't got to move. Not everyone can find the cash to move house these days, with real estate selling prices increasing and costs spiraling. It isn't simply the housing prices that affect this, but additionally the cost of moving house, which can be extremely expensive in recent years. If your home's no longer large enough to accommodate your ever growing family, physically moving home isn't the only real option. A fairly costly alternative is to add a brick extension to your house to gain that additional living space, but you may not get the necessary planning permission, and also your home may not be suitable. You could convert your garage, assuming that you have a garage and aren't actually using it for your car. Probably the perfect resolution is to do a loft conversion, which can add plenty of value to your house and shouldn't need any planning permission. You just have to choose what to use all that extra space for as soon as your conversion is completed. You can use it as a kitchen/diner, a new bathroom or an extra bedroom or two. However there are numerous uses to which a good conversion can be put, limited only by your imagination!
