TR1911- Taurus PT 1911 Interchangeable front sight. Includes six litepipes in red and green, carrying case and key to interchange the litepipes.

HIVIZ Dovetail Sight Installation Warning!! We recommend gunsmith installation of dovetail sights. If a sight pusher is used for installation it must be of the type that pushes on the dovetail itself. Never use a sight pusher that exerts pressure on the blade of a sight.

Our sight bases are manufactured from quality steel, but due to the design, sight pushers that exert pressure on the blade will damage the sight.

HIVIZ dovetails are manufactured slightly oversize to allow for dovetail cut wear on used guns. Fitting will likely be neccessary for proper installation.

	by S.B on 9/20/2009	Excellent sight! I bought this sight early this year. Wow! it is super bright outdoors! I like the green light pipe. I emailed Hiviz before purchase, for info on installation and Point of aim in relation to my current Heinie straight 8. They responded that this sight is based(height) on the Heinie, and that it would require "fitting" filing at bottom. A little file work, and it fit nicely. it was a bit taller than heinie sight - shot low, but nothing a bit more gunsmithing couldnt fix. I would definitely recommend this front sight. I like the quick change light pipes for easy replacement and cleaning.
	by Dana V on 8/10/2009	Not what it seems or says I bought this site thinking it was for my taurus pt1911, and that is exactly what it says on the web site and package. But guess what? It will not fit the front dovetail on the pt1911 without SERIOUS fitting from a professional gunsmith. Do not be fooled by the "low cost" pt1911 front sight, because after all the gunsmithing fees, this site cost me more than what it would have cost to have my slide milled to take normal sights.
	by William K. on 8/7/2009	BUYER BEWARE I purchased this site for my PT1911. After removing my front dovetail sight I went to install the new sight. Well BEWARE it does not fit, it must be ground down by a gunsmith. I then looked at the fine print on the package which said must be installed by a gunsmith. However it DOES NOT SAY THAT WHEN YOU GO TO BUY IT. It is false adveertising to say it is for a PT1911 when it DOES NOT FIT THE DOVETAIL. Needless to say I am very disapointed in this product and company. Bill Pochettino
