Description 

GP2006 - Front sight for Ruger GP100 revolvers.

Interchangeable LitePipes in red, green, white.

Package includes carrying case for pipes and key to interchange pipes.

Fits all GP100 model revolvers with adjustable rear sights.

Height of sight from barrel up is .270" (overall sight height from base of dovetail to top is .445").

Made a huge difference to my GP100 6" Stainless, even in low light conditions the lightpipe shines out making aiming a breeze compared to the original black ramp. Thoroughly recommend! Now I can't blame the sights anymore for my groups!! LOL. Strangely enough the packet states "Recommend installation by professional gunsmith" for the GP100 - yet it is a 10-second operation!? Press the sight plunger in, lift out the old sight and drop the new one in.

These sights are great so far. I would have given them 4 stars except for the fact they do not include any instructions! They are much easier to pick up than the factory Ruger sight. I currently am using the red (pink) one because I feel that it shows up the brightest and has the most contrast to the rear notch. Very easy install and its easy to change out the "pipes" once you figure out how (no thanks to Hi-Viz). I would recommend them as a cheaper alternative to the night sights out there, however, these are not night sights.

I installed the HiViz front sight on my GP100 this week and just got out to the range today. Excellent results! I thought I was losing my touch but the HiViz put me right back on track. (Three nines and three 10's on the first cyl. at 25 yds.) I found the installation easy (no filing necessary) and changed out the optic tubes a couple of times just to check them out. No problems there either. I agree with James, this is just what my "tired old eyes" needed.

I bought this set for a Ruger GP100 revolver. The instructions, which are sparsely printed on the back of the package card, tell you how to remove the stock sight and install this one, but there is zero information about how to change the different colored pipes or to use the included "key" to do so. For the price of this sight some detailed printed instructions on a little sheet should have been included.

Easy installation, Highly Visible to these tired old eyes, has improved my shooting noticeably. Next oeder will be for my G17.
